CINERENDER as one of the most professional render engines on the market comes with many new parameters and settings which are new for us ArchiCAD users.
We should understand some of them for avoiding long render times and unexpected results.
We will learn to create our own presets, our own render style which can be used afterwards out of the box.

1
Simple Rendering with Basic Surfaces and No Interior Lights
This design sketch conveys the basic spatial relationships however it feels rather artificial and “plastic”.
2
Interior Lighting Added
The same view without sunlight and the ambient light turned down; interior lighting starts to make it feel more natural.
3
More Interior Lighting and Texture Effects
Notice that the window in the back is dark (rather than appearing light as in the first two images); the carpet has depth, and there are additional subtle lighting interactions. Still not a great rendering, but getting more interesting.
